Print Making Fun

I’ve always been interested in printmaking and printing. As an aside, if you have the same interest, the Museum of Printing in Haverhill MA, is a must see!

I needed a change from my landscape and master studies, so I made a plate out of a Tetrapak© carton, and ran it through my pasta maker with my gouache sponge as a blanket for the “press.” The acrylic paint is OK for printmaking, but I’m thinking a real printmaking ink would be better. It was a fun break from painting and it left me thinking about printmaking with other kinds of plates and inks
