Missisquoi
Now as the winter solstice is coming soon, it’s nice to remember our trip to the northernmost part of Vermont up near the Missisquoi river, almost to the Canadian border. We hiked across the railroad tracks and onto a path that skimmed the river and housed beavers, mosquitos, bullfrogs and wildlife we couldn’t see. I snapped two photos there - breathtaking compositions of the dark river with small splashes of light coming through, and clusters of lilly pads artfully arranged by the river currents.
I captured these as soon as I got back to the studio, and entered them in some Fall shows. They have found happy homes - all in other artists homes. I’m happy to be able to capture these wild places, and just as happy that people want these images in their homes. You can read more about the Missiquoi area here.
