Lake Champlain has wonderful variations in weather in September ranging from brilliant sunshine spotlights to moody, cool cloud cover. I tried to capture my two favorite Champlain weather "moods" spending no more than 30 minutes on the sketch using only watercolor pencils, water brush, and Micron pen.

  • Clouds Clearing, North Hero

The Shelburne Museum has a wonderful textile collection. I don't know what is going on in this quilt panel, but it looks like fun.
